A day using watercolors as a prayerful process.

Prayer is communication, sometimes quiet and soft, sometimes joyful and exuberant, sometimes carefully chosen words, sometimes heartfelt pleadings. Throughout history, people have prayed through words, through dance, through meditation, through work, and through play. Prayer is an important part of every spiritual life.

In this workshop, we will explore praying with color, shapes and image. We will look at scripture using music, guided imagery and storytelling and then bring our responses to the paint and the paper. No art experience is needed. Karen will teach us how to use watercolors and will provide all supplies.

Karen is available to lead your group in this day of prayer, color and fun. For more information, contact her at karen@karenamelia.com
